Venue Access from Vienna Airport to the Conference Locations in Bratislava​

Traveling to the conference venues, the Primatial Palace and the Historical Building of City Hall in Bratislava, is convenient and straightforward from Vienna International Airport (VIE).​

Upon arrival at Vienna International Airport, there are several options to access Bratislava:​

  1. Bus:​
    There is a direct bus connection to Bratislava (Central Bus Station) operated by Slovak Lines, FlixBus or RegioJet. You can reach Bratislava in around 1 hour. Timetable and tickets available online or at the airport ​

    Look for the bus service provided by companies such as Slovak Lines or FlixBus. Tickets can be purchased online or at the airport.​

  2. Rail Connection:​
    Non-direct connection only:​
    – First take a train from the airport to the Vienna Central Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof)​
    – Then take a direct train from Wien Hbf to Bratislava. (about 1 hour) ​
    – Once in Bratislava, you can reach the Primatial Palace and the Historical Building of City Hall by taxi or public transport.​

  3. Taxi or Rideshare:​
    Taxis and rideshare services like Uber are available at the airport.​
    The direct ride to the conference venues takes about 45 minutes, depending on traffic.​

Primatial Palace: ​
Situated in the heart of Bratislava, the Primatial Palace is a stunning example of neoclassical architecture. The palace features beautiful gardens and is historically significant as a venue for various official events. The conference will be held in this impressive setting, providing an inspiring atmosphere for participants. ​

Historical Building of City Hall: ​
Also located in the Old Town, the Historical Building of City Hall is one of the oldest buildings in Bratislava, showcasing Gothic and Renaissance architectural styles. It serves as a cultural landmark and offers modern facilities for conferences. The proximity of both venues allows for easy access between sessions, fostering networking and collaboration among attendees.​

Venue Overview​:
Primatial Palace and Historical City Hall are historic buildings located in the heart of Bratislava, situated at Primatial Square and Main Square, respectively. Situated alongside it allows easy access to any conference rooms in a few minutes‘ walk.​

Primatial Palace is located at Primaciálne námestie 3, 811 01 Bratislava. This neoclassical building, constructed in the 18th century, currently serves as the office of the Mayor of the City of Bratislava.​

Historical City Hall is located at Hlavné námestie 1, 811 01 Bratislava. This complex of historic buildings now houses the Museum of City History.​

Both locations are in a walking distance from the city center and are surrounded by a variety of restaurants, cafes, and shops, providing conference attendees with many opportunities for leisure activities during breaks. The recommended hotels are conveniently located in the city center—approximately about 10-minute walk from the conference venues.​
