Proceedings
Publication of Selected Full-Text Manuscripts
Selected peer-reviewed full-text contributions will be published in post-conference Proceedings in the Journal of Physical Studies https://physics.lnu.edu.ua/jps/ an international, peer-reviewed journal indexed in leading scientific databases.
Manuscripts are expected to be collected within 2 months after the conference and should be prepared according to the journal submission requirements.
Additional information regarding the detailed submission process will be provided in due course.
ISMANAM Awards
Continuing the ISMANAM tradition, the Steering Committee of the conference will select two scientists for awards ― one for the ISMANAM 29 Senior Scientist Award and one for the ISMANAM 29 Early-Career Scientist Award.
The Alain Reza Yavari Senior Scientist Award recognizes a scientist with recent research leadership, ground-breaking results, and/or a highly distinguished career-long contribution.
The Early-Career Scientist Award will be presented to an outstanding participating scientist who is normally not older than 35 at the time of the conference. (Career breaks may be taken into consideration when assessing this limit.) The ISMANAM Steering Committee reserves the right to make more than one award if enough candidates of outstanding merit are nominated.
Two Poster Awards will also be awarded during the conference.
The names of all the awardees will be announced at the conference banquet.
For the Senior Scientist Award and Early-Career Award, nominations of candidates are welcomed from any registered participant in ISMANAM 29.
Procedure for Award Nominations
To preserve the reputation of these awards, we emphasize that only individuals of exceptional merit should be nominated. Only those attending ISNAMAM 29 as fully registered participants are eligible to receive these awards.
All nominations should be submitted to:
Prof. Lindsay Greer (University of Cambridge, UK): alg13@cam.ac.uk
Chair of the ISMANAM Steering Committee
and
Prof. Kenneth Kelton (Washington University, St Louis, USA): kfk@wustl.edu
Vice-Chair of the ISMANAM Steering Committee
The deadline to receive nominations is 18 June 2025. Nominations must include:
- a nominating letter (setting out the general case for the nomination)
- at least one supporting letter (not written by the nominator, and therefore providing an independent view)
- the CV of the nominee (including a list of publications if felt appropriate).
Those intending to make a nomination for the Alain Reza Yavari Senior Scientist Award should first contact the Chair and Vice-Chair of the ISMANAM Steering Committee. Nominations for the Early-Career Scientist Award may be submitted directly to the Chair and Vice-Chair directly without prior contact.
Nominations for the Senior Scientist Award should be accompanied by more than one supporting letter.
Self-nominations will not be accepted. In considering potential nominations, it may be useful to consider the list of past awardees (see below):
